As a result, Fresh made the decision to remove alkylphenol ethoxylate (APE) surfactants from it's entire offering of liquids, gels, and block deodorizer's, in favor of biodegradable surfactants. Along with this decision came the birth of our eco-friendly family of products that is recognized by the Eco-Fresh logo carried on our packaging.

Since the initial decision was made to introduce our line of Eco-Friendly products, we have been committed to offering the most environmentally preferred option for every new product we have developed. Lowering VOC's, using biodegradable or recyclable materials, reducing the amount of packaging being used, minimizing waste, reducing energy and improving manufacturing efficiencies have all been important considerations during the development process. Furthermore, Fresh was one of the first "formulator" members on Cleangredients - the EPA initiative to promote the manufacturing of green products - again highlighting our commitment to the environment.

Eco-Fresh is an entire system of deodorizing and cleaning products that have been developed using these philosophies. Eco-Fresh products are formulated from the most environmentally preferred raw materials available today. We understand the importance of manufacturing environmentally-friendly products, but are careful not to lose sight of the fact that product performance is of paramount importance to our customers. We are in no doubt that quality and performance of our Eco-Fresh products has not been compromised while making this commitment to manufacturing "green products"
